DONATIONS RECEIVED — WPOA presented checks to the Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation for its Lakes Talks and Eats, Syracuse-Wawasee Trails Committee and Kosciusko Lakes and Streams “Lake in the Classroom” project during Saturday’s meeting. PLANING ALONG THE LAKE — Studies have found boats that plane along the lake cause less disturbance in shallow water to sediment and aquatic plants.

WATER DEPTHS ON WAWASEE — This bathymetric map of Lake Wawasee shows the various depths with many indicating the best place for skiing, wakeboarding and surfing is the darker blue areas where depths range from 20 feet to 80 feet deep.
